Reason for the Season

What's the Problem With This Picture?

Maybe it's not as obvious to you as it is to me. Let me help. Focus your eyeballs on the stockings. Now, zoom in on the contents (go ahead and click on the foto to get a full-screen view). The one on the left is M&M's; the middle one is Baci's; and, guess who the one on the right belongs to? Yep. That would be me. Therein lies the problem. You see. It's empty.

But, honestly, I'm alright with that. He did make an extra effort this year to have the first gift under the tree. He did that for me...He does a lot for me. That said, I shall shut my trap, kick myself in the nogg'n and remember the reason for the season, 'cause that's what matters here, folks.

Continued happiness to you and yours during this wondrous time of year.

Oh Rhonda, that is so hilarious. I hope Santa surprises you with a little sumthin' sumthin'. And if now, you're right! Tis the season for other more important things.

On a side note, has anyone else had problems opening your blog? Lately (the last 2 weeks) it takes like 2 minutes for it to render. Just an FYI.

Hey- that's how my stocking always looks.

But- I look at it like you do- my hubby does so much for me that it's just not a big deal.

Ah, guys are clueless on gifting. They show love in other ways. :-)

And yes, you can move your entier blogger blog over to wordpress pretty painlessly. :-)

And I hate Blogger for screwing people in the comments options (they can't leave their URLS easily anymore if they don't use Blogger) and for messing up my comment notification... and just for sucking in general. lol

Don't feel bad, Rhon! Mine is always empty...besides, Santa doesn't come until Christmas Eve anyway! ;)

My mother-in-law buys her own stuff, wraps it, and puts it all under the tree. As the years roll by, I begin to understand.

Could it be that the other family members just aren't as thoughtful as you? I hope they remember to fill it with candy and such and not just their empty soda can. :)

When I looked at the stockings, the first thing that popped into my head was "dang, Santa's been to their house and it's not even xmas eve yet."

That aside, if my stocking is empty, I am going to have a major hissy.

And then I'll get me some caffeine to settle down.

Hey, noticed you didn't do the music meme. Not up for the challenge? wink wink nudge nudge.
