Rip's B.A.D. Ride Featuring Larry Hagman

As promised, here's the famous dude I said I would post earlier. I've been a fan since I Dream of Jeannie and later Dallas, so to learn first hand the ailments Mr. Hagman has suffered and the charities he's sponsored, it was a great honor to stand by his side. Read more about our B.A.D. ride to Long Beach here (B.A.D. = Bikers Against Diabetes), a fundraiser featuring Larry Hagman. {Additionally/ironically, my mom's b-day is today ; she too has Diabetes and recently lost most of her eyesight. Prayers to you, mama and happy birthday.} More pics from the ride to follow ~ Stay tuned. *smackies* (p.s. My NBFF, P, is also pictured here *winky winky*)

Awesome of you to go ride. I know too many people with diabetes -- including a few kids who have Type 1 -- and really. There HAS to be a way to cure it. Yeah, prevention is a big thing, too, for the Type 2 people. But when I look at how the kids are affected...

Great shot of Larry Hagman. Of course I remember his shows. I didn't know he has diabetes. I'm sorry he's been sick! My husband Vinny has diabetes too. Just diagnosed1 But he's doing very well.

Woo hoo!!! What a pic! I'd be so excited. I was addicted to Dallas reruns for a long time (please don't tell anyone), but it was I Dream of Jeannie that really had me :)

Can't wait to see more!

How cool..and you are supporting a good cause - actually biking for a good cause. Keep it up, Chuck!

Diabetes runs in our genes too. That's why as early as now I try to keep a healthy lifestyle (although failing at time!).
And yes, happy birthday to your mama. I'll be praying for her.
