Click'm to enlargify, 'cause otherwise, ya can't really see the little guy. Then is when you will find true hoppiness.
(btw: i took this with my Nikon D80 on auto setting. i think it could've been better -- as witnessed by Miss Thing, Mama Geek. darn her, she's good. tips would be nice since i haven't learned how to do much more than click. *ugh*)

Hi ya Chuck! Beautiful pictures you are taking. Enlargeing them makes them ultra fabulous! So glad to see you back blogging again. I am just reconnecting myself. Have a great day and here's a big ((((HUG)))) for ya!
That's kind of an ugly little critter, but it's a great shot little chicken. Have a great day. Big hug and lotsa lovies. :)
Aww, he makes me hoppy! I wish I could give you tips, but I am still in the click only level of learning too. I need a class. A simple class. That meets like 10 minutes a day, in my car while I stuck in traffic.
"True hoppiness"??

I saw a similar struggle yesterday (or was it Monday?) between a hornet and a cicada. The hornet won. Despite giving up a lot of size.
Those little guys can be fiesty.
Nice capture.
Another ‘kewl’ wordless photo … well done!
Hugs and blessings,
That guy there could have been my son's playmate! Thanks for dropping by Verb. It's good to hear from you. have a wonderful day.
BTW, I couldn't comment on your 9-11 post...
Hey, I now have a D80. I have to choose between it and my trusty D50, but I can't quite figure out how...
Well I am so excited for you I still do not have full capacity for my camera and I have had it 9 months I want to take a class
