Ren Fest ~ Weekly Winner

It's photo day, thanks to
Sarcastic Mom, so click the banner and join in some linky-love!

Had lots o' fun at the Renaissance Festival today with our friends. There was lots of sun, elephant riding [mammal event only pic - still in friend's camera; hence, necessitation of this act of cheating -- posting this work of art (caricature of me and M&M) instead of photograph], refreshing, malty beverages, turkey legs, soup bowls, dark chocolate-fudge cake and cinnamon rolls. *Yummo*

Feel'n good; feel'n fine. Lov'n this look -- (note the nose piercing. i know. i'm cool. i think i'm 29.) Now, off to bed. It's 1 am. Beauty sleep is clearly out of the question. *sigh*

I love the picture! I have always envied those who can draw caricatures so well. I keep trying but I am only good for drawing caricatures of myself.

Thanks for dropping by!

Very fun...sounds like the day was good as well.

I tried to figure out what I meant in my last comment and I can't either...some days are like that around here. hahahaha

Glad you had a great time. Love the caricature of you and hubby. So, you're 29 huh? How cool. Have a great day Chuck. :)

Sounds like a lot of fun - especially the turkey legs. ;) The only fair I'm familiar with is the county fair. Although it sounds like there are definite similarities: good food, people in funny costumes (we call 'em "cowboys"), wild animals, and lots of fun.

Such a lovely caricature sketch! Hmmm … Renaissance Faires are ‘phun’ indeed! Haven’t been to one in a while now, but I love all the ‘goodies’ to snack upon … and ‘dressing up’ for the occasion!

The nose ring is EXCELLENT! :) (And it's a photo, right? So it's not actually cheating...LOL)

What?!! No meme?!?! ;) We went to the RenFair last year. It was so much fun! DH loves the shows while I'm more the roam-the-grounds-while-I-eat-drink-and-be-merry kinda gal.

BTW, I don't know if you know, but the link you've put in many of the WW posts actually link back to my blog!

Mmmm...love fairs and markets. I missed my local one yesterday; and then you have to go mention chocolate fudge cake and cinnamon rolls, and remind of all the mouth-watering yummies I missed... Too cruel. ;)

I love the caricature (and yes, it's a photo of it so you're off the hook). Got one similar - if I ever get to unpack I must dig mine out and frame it...they're fun to look back on.

And nah, nah...I'm only 40 going on 29. LOL.

Nice to meet you...enjoying the read. Mine's green tea...leave the bag in.

I am a big fan of the giant char burned turkey legs at our Renaissance Fair. Next year I think I'll go for the caricature and request your nose piercing.

I love renaissance fairs! What a great caricature :) You sure look 29...or younger! You're hot!!! ;-)

My favorite part of a caricature is the people watching it being created. All of the comments make the end result so much more fun!

So, you are a female named "Chuck" ... and you are married to an M&M??? Ha haaa! I like that. I am a cat... with a blog. :-)

Do the caricatures resemble you at all?

The last one I got wasn't even close!
