These are photos of a special Shar-pei puppy (sent to me by Susie, the breeder who sold us Baci). M&M doesn't want another doggie, but has given me approval to get one. I'm not convinced this gives me the right to go ahead and get him! But, I've already named him...Malakai *giggling* The name just came to me, so maybe there's a reason for that. The meaning: "My messenger." Hmm Interesting. Does he have something he needs to tell me, you think?
Here's his Mommy, Lucy, when she was 4 months old. Note the extra wrinkles. The reason her boy (above) is special is because he's what is called a mini. He will have more hanging skin and because of his size, he's considered flawed, which disqualifies him from being show-quality. Fine with me! I can't help but get excited. Yippee!...well, we'll see.

That's one cute pup. My 1/2 pei Puddin wasn't even close to that. No wrinkles now, she's just loose.
