Never been. Checked it out first time yesterday! My dear friend (see below) came into town from KC, so we decided we'd go with him. So glad we did, 'cause look at these fotos - Special emphasis on this one:
Look! It's me and GEORGE BARRIS!! His assistant let me beyond the ropes...When I was finished, an onlooker said, "Hey! They wouldn't let me back there!" Then she said, "It must've been the glitter in your hair." haha (Note: we're sitting in the original Monkeys car in this foto!)

He's a legend in the automobile industry, known for creating a mixture of custom cars, hot rods, cars-of-the-stars (namely, he made cars for the Beverly Hillbillies, The Munsters, The Green Hornet, The Monkeys, the Knight Rider, the Dukes of Hazard, The A-Team, and more. Barris has accomplishments and milestones over a 60-year period, including the famous, 1966 Batmobile!]
And, here's the friend I referenced above -- one of my closest, John Smith (yep, that's his name) of almost two decades! He provided us with free beverages the entire day! What a guy - biggest heart on the planet *smooches*
