You've GOT to be Kidding - Immigration Snafu
I don't do news, politics, etc; but, yesterday it caught my eye b4 I had a chance to click the off switch. I was too late. I saw. I heard:
Disgusting. That's all I have to say. Somebody get me a gun. Oh wait. *scratching chin* Methinks me needs to stay calm, be non-judgmental and a Christian. *Hmmf* Maybe if Mexican folk were out of the 18-25 age-range, I would feel differently ?--? Uhno. ---Maybe has something to do with the fact they're practically in my back yard.(News story found here.)
Does this make others want to murder? *argh*

Elephant Stew
Life has taken me in a new direction as of late, but I can't stop thinking about the world I left behind. So, I've stopped in to say hello, to let you know I miss you, namely, (those regular contributors to my drivel listed below):
...and to share a family recipe provided by dear mom during my recent visit to her in the great land of Oz. She couldn't see the old book, so she handed it to me requesting I find "Elephant Stew" in the index. Though her vision has almost completely been taken by Edema, she still managed to find a giggle down deep; we laughed together till we about cried. Hence, in honor of her, here's her famous stew concoction. To your good health and to laughter too. *grinnies*
1 medium-sized elephant
brown gravy to cover
Salt & pepper
2 rabbits (optional)
Cut the elephant into bite-sized pieces. This should take about 2 months. Add the brown gravy and cook over a kerosene fire about 4 weeks at 465 degrees Fahrenheit. This will serve about 3800 people. If more are expected, add your 2 rabbits, but do this only if necessary, as most people do not like to find hare in their stew.

Approaching 40; 40; 40 and above - & Fit-abulous!
Players: Those rapidly approaching 40, already landed smack-dab on 40, or who have long-since embraced 40 (and see the less-wise folk eating sassy-dust in their rear-view mirrors -- in other words, you're 50 or 60, etc.)...Anybody else who believes they could gain from playing in the sandbox, should.
Behind the Tattoo: Right around my 40th, the puzzle pieces fit. The big picture landed in front of my eyeballs --> I have a never-ending need to find peace and balance in my life by staying FIT spiritually, mentally, emotionally and physically. Now that I'm
Rules:
1) Share a brief statement or two on how your yang (positive) has overcome your yin (negative) in the past week -- How have you become FIT on many levels of your life? How did you step on butthead, adversity? {Although the symbol's shape indicates continual movement of the 2 energies, I believe the balance comes from our behavior allowing the positive to outweigh the negative}; and,
2) Leave your link here at the Chuck hub so all participants know you've spewed. Meet and greet. We make linky-love (tip: use Mr. Linky).
Extras: I'll display a code to make it easier to steal the 40 and Fit-abulous button (which may change - knowing me) and start a blogroll too. I'll have games and awards down the road too. If you're in, come play - "Contact Me" button is sitting on top my bald head.
Rock~n~roll. Party on. Peace out. *smackers*
